50 Y/O Male

Paitient presented with second and third degree gasoline burns on right arm and hand, requesting pain medication

  • He had been treating with daily dressing changes using Santyl and gauze



Day 2

  • Patient taken to operating room and debrided
  • DermaFill applied in operating room following debridement



Day 7

  • Dermafill adheres over damaged areas and flakes off when healed
  • Patient pain free



Day 25 follow-up

  • Patient reports dressing completely flaked of one week earlier
  • Single application
  • Pain free through course of therapy



Day 2

  • Back of hand DermaFill applied following surgical debridement



Day 7

  • DermaFill remains in place even over joints
  • Dressing clear allowing for accurate charting of wound progress



Day 25

  • Patient states dressing flaked of one week earlier
  • Single application
  • Pain free through course of therapy



Day 1

  • Arm and forearm second and thrid degree burns



Day 2

  • Wounds surgically debrided
  • DermaFill applied in operating room



Day 2

  • DermaFill in place
  • No signs or symptoms of infection
  • Patient pain free
  • Dermafill patched when cracked



Day 7

  • Dressing adheres to areas not yet healed and flakes off as patient heals
  • Pain free



Day 25

  • Patient healed
  • Tatoo remained in place
